Announcements for 4/21/26

Our ABC Countdown continues.  Today is Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears & Baseball Day.  Tomorrow is C – Camo Day.  Wear your camo gear.

Attention all 8th graders!   
Each year we honor one 8th grader with the IESA Scholar Attitude Award.  To be eligible for this award you must have participated in at least one IESA sponsored sport - cross country, track, or wrestling - during at least two years of middle school. In addition, eligible 8th graders must have at least a 3.5 grade point average for both their 7th and 8th grade years.   Today all eighth graders were sent an email with an application for this award.  If you meet the requirements and are interested in applying, please complete the application and return it to Mrs. Merritt by Friday, April 24th.

Homework Club will meet in the LMC this afternoon.

Peer Mediators will meet this afternoon in room 114 until 3:00.

The 8^th Grade Class picture will be taken next Monday, April 27^th at 8:40 am.   Please make sure to be on time if you want to be included in the picture.  Online ordering is open now from Class Photography.  You can access their website through our most recent newsletter sent to your parents.  Paper order forms are also available in the office.  Don’t be left out…order yours today!

Lion Pride, Lundahl’s GSA, will meet on April 28th after school until 3:00 in room 217.  Please reach out to Mrs. Panke, Mrs. Hanfland, Mrs. Burlini, or Ms. Andreassen if you want more information or if you have any questions.
