Science Olympiad - First meeting Thursday Sept. 10th at 2:30pm-3:00pm in LAB 3
Are you interested in building things, doing experiments, and exploring science? Science Olympiad is a competition for students your age. You and a teammate will have fun competing in events such as the ever-changing nature of genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology. The regional event takes place at Harper College with many other schools participating in March. It is a fun way to meet other students interested in science while doing fun and challenging competitions. Athletic-style medals will be given to the top winners of each event. In addition, championship trophies will be awarded to the Division B school teams compiling the fewest total points during the Science Olympiad tournament, with a possible qualification for the state tournament in April.
